How did you start out?

After finishing university I began my career as a high school teacher of English, History, Geography & Drama in an international boarding school in Switzerland. Out of this experience grew a love for international education and creating unique experiences for clients. After three years in Switzerland I moved back to Ireland and transitioned into the field of Marketing. I was immediately hooked on the industry.

What piece of advice would you give to your 21-year-old self?

Don’t worry about getting old… life gets better and better if you want it to.

What helped you get as far as you have?

I think a true love and passion for what you do. I also believe the wonderful team I work with and all our clients that make it all so worthwhile.

A low point in your career/life and how you overcame it?

I like to think I have not had low points but rather challenges. I believe that out of every challenge there is always a positive. You just have to look, find and focus on the good that is there.

One word to describe yourself?

What are you most proud of in your professional life?

The wonderful, true and strong client and team relationships that I have built along the way.

Your first paying job: What and when?

It was a Summer job as a waitress when I was 16… and I was terrible ;-) I went through 3 jobs that Summer and my parents thought there was no hope for me!!! ;-)

What do you do to keep yourself centered?

I try to have a good work/life balance and exercise every day. I also have an amazingly supportive husband, family, friends and team.

What’s your favourite quote?

Oh there are so many quotes I love and live by but two of my favourites are:

Look for something positive in each day even if some days you have to look a little harder.

Your positive action combined with positive thinking results in success.

What would your superpower be?

To be able to do without sleep would be amazing. You could fit so much more into each day. I imagine this power would also come in useful in two weeks when I become a first time Mum ;-)
