Lead5050 and The Global Leadership League are delighted to announce the launch of a new Women in Education event. The WIE Leadership Summit 2019 is an opportunity to meet like-minded peers, develop your network, invest in your professional development and join the movement. Through learning and dialogue, we will improve our leadership skills and work together on our plans to actively achieve gender equality for international education and the world.
This will be an afternoon of networking and ideas sharing with professional development sessions, a forum and an interactive panel discussion.
You are invited to start the afternoon by choosing to explore The Power of Attentive Listening or Setting Boundaries. Using Lead5050 Circles, we will discuss and reflect on our own values and practices to improve our confidence, self-awareness and leadership skills. Lead5050 has developed the format and materials for these Circles with a certified coach. The format provides a well-structured, informed discussion which allows for exploration and peer-coaching.
Next, The Global Leadership League takes us into Making Tough Choices When Everything is Important. Hearing from experts, this is also your opportunity to reflect on life’s complexities, prioritizing and finding a bit of sanity.
We shall end the afternoon with an interactive panel discussion, ‘Let's Change our World, starting right now!’ Thinking about gender equality and inclusive cultures, we shall consider what challenges our industry faces and outline our available solutions.
The summit will be an inclusive event with an open, positive and friendly atmosphere. Everyone is welcome. Dress code is casual. Tickets are £50 or you can buy your WIE Awards and Leadership Summit tickets together for £160 (saving £20).
